Weekly summary 25/2021

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 25th week of 2021, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) Corona situation. a) The situation in general. Reported injuries and deaths from or with the Corona injections are nothing but shocking. The VAERS system (US) is reporting 6,113 deaths, 5,172 permanent disabilities, 6,435 life threatening events, and 51,558 emergency room visits. There have now been more deaths reported following Corona injections that started in December of 2020, than there have been total deaths recorded following vaccinations in the previous 30 years, from January 1, 1991 through November 30, 2020. For the EU contries, the EudraVigilance system reports 15,472 deaths and 1,509,266 injuries reported following the Corona jabs.

With currently 60 studies including 31 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) reporting positive effects of Ivermectin, there is sufficient research proving the efficacy of Covid-19 prophylaxis and treatment protocols like I-MASK+ and MATH+ available. Also, as reported in the Lancet, inhalation of Budesonid can reduce the probability of severe courses of disease by 90%. These are clear indications that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is similarily managable like any other easily transmissible virus. For what plausible reason is treatment and prophylaxis with Ivermectin or Budesonid still suppressed? #FollowtheScience.

b) Impact on the doll business. International transit times for doll shipments to EU destinations have normalized. Also, shipping to destinations in North America is back to normal with transit times of about one week. At the moment, most dolls still travel with UPS. Considering the global situation, it is expected that things will remain normal during Summer, but it might get bad again in fall and winter.

Starting July 2021, non-Corona changes will keep the business turbulent. In Germany, a new legislation will restrict permissible sex dolls. And for EU vendors, the VAT rules are tuned upside down.

2) New arrivals.

This week, five new heads were introduced:

• 6Ye Premium no. 53 head (= 6Ye no. 53) - TPE
• 6Ye Premium no. 143 head (= 6Ye no. 143) - TPE
• Irontech Doll ›William‹ head (= IT no. M2) - silicone
• SE Doll ›Brittany‹ head (= SE no. 045) - silicone
• WM Dolls no. 334 head (= Jinsan no. 334) - TPE

Also, one new body style was released:

• New arrivals: Irontech IT-175 Male body style - TPE / ~175 cm / ~50 kg

No new head variants of existing heads were introduced.

Also, since March 14th, 2021, TDF-accredited vendors are no longer allowed to link to "pages that promote dolls that are disallowed at TDF", including their own shop websites. This is a historical milestone. Additionally, numerous pictures by popular photographers like Mizuwali (e.g. Piper Doll) and Mandos (WM Dolls) habe been dissaproved by TDF management.
