Weekly summary 28/2021

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 28th week of 2021, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) Corona situation. a) The situation in general. Reported injuries and deaths from or with the Corona injections keep climbing up. The VAERS system (US) is reporting a total of 551.172 adverse reactions, including 10.991 deaths, 9.274 permanent disabilities, 8.831 life threatening injuries, and 59.347 emergency room visits. There have now been more deaths reported following Corona injections that started in December of 2020, than there have been total deaths recorded following vaccinations in the previous 30 years, from January 1, 1991 through November 30, 2020. For the EU contries, the EudraVigilance system reports 17.503 deaths and 1.687.527 injuries reported following the Corona jabs. From the total of injuries recorded, about half of them (837.588 ) are serious injuries (e.g. persistent or significant disability or incapacity, or congenital anomaly/birth defects). The UK Government’s reporting system from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency reports a total of 1.403 deaths and 1.007.253 injuries following the jabs.

Proper Corona treatment is still denied in many countries around the world, but some countries/regions have started to include Ivermectin in their treatment protocols, e.g. Goa in India. With currently 60 studies including 30 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) reporting positive effects of Ivermectin, there is sufficient research proving the efficacy of Covid-19 prophylaxis and treatment protocols like I-MASK+ and MATH+ available. Also, as reported in the Lancet, inhalation of Budesonid can reduce the probability of severe courses of disease by 90%. These are clear indications that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is similarily managable like any other easily transmissible virus. For what plausible reason is treatment and prophylaxis with Ivermectin or Budesonid still suppressed? #FollowtheScience.

b) Impact on the doll business. Corona does not have any direct influence on the doll business anymore. International transit times for doll shipments as well to destinations in Europe as to destinations in North America have normalized. Though, ripple effects become more and more evident for everybody as there are price increases and supply chain disruptions almost everywhere.

2) New arrivals.

This week, two new heads were introduced:

• 6Ye Premium no. 40 head (= 6Ye no. 40) - TPE
• Doll Forever ›Moon‹ head - TPE

No new body styles were released:

No new head variants of existing heads were introduced.

Also, since March 14th, 2021, TDF-accredited vendors are no longer allowed to link to "pages that promote dolls that are disallowed at TDF", including their own shop websites. This is a historical milestone. Additionally, numerous pictures by popular photographers like Mizuwali (e.g. Piper Doll) and Mandos (WM Dolls) habe been dissaproved by TDF management.
