Weekly summary 22/2021

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 22nd week of 2021, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) Corona situation. a) The situation in general. Reported injuries and deaths from or with the Corona injections keep climbing up. Corona ripple effects like supply chain disruptions and inflationionary tendencies are becoming part of everydays life. Denmark introduced a new level of censorship: Access to video platform Bitchute has been blocked nationwide because of politically not opportune Corona reporting. The formerly civilized world starts to descend into totalitarism.

With now 58 studies including 29 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) reporting positive effects of Ivermectin, there is sufficient research proving the efficacy of Covid-19 prophylaxis and treatment protocols like I-MASK+ and MATH+ available. Also, as reported in the Lancet, inhalation of Budesonid can reduce the probability of severe courses of disease by 90%. These are clear indications that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is similarily managable like any other easily transmissible virus. For what plausible reason is treatment and prophylaxis with Ivermectin or Budesonid still suppressed? #FollowtheScience.

b) Impact on the doll business. International transit times for doll shipments to EU destinations still might require some patience, though some shipments make it within about 20 days from mainland China to Europe. Shipping to destinations in North America is almost back to normal with transit times between about one week and two weeks at maximum. Though, there seem to be changes which carriers are used - at the moment, basically all dolls seem to travel with UPS.

2) New arrivals.

This week, six new heads were introduced:

• 6Ye Premium no. 65 head (= 6Ye no. 65) - TPE
• 6Ye Premium no. 174 head (= 6Ye no. 174) - TPE

• SE Doll ›Pearl‹ head (= SE no. 103) - silicone

Also, four new body styles were released:

• New arrivals: 6Ye Premium 6Ye-159 body style - TPE / ~159 cm / ~41 kg
• New arrivals: 6Ye Premium 6Ye-163/F body style - TPE / ~163 cm / ~40 kg
• New arrivals: Irontech IT-166/D body style - TPE / ~166 cm / ~43 kg
• New arrivals: Jiusheng JIT-160 - TPE / ~160 cm / ~37 kg

No new head variants of existing heads were introduced.

Also, since March 14th, 2021, TDF-accredited vendors are no longer allowed to link to "pages that promote dolls that are disallowed at TDF", including their own shop websites.
