Bolts

Bolts or pegs are commonly used to allow dolls to stand in an upright position.

Usually, the bolts are embedded into a foot plate and poke through the soles of the feet, so the doll actually stands on these bolts and not on their own feet.

To avoid the bolts scratching the floor, they can be encapsulated with plastic caps.
