Weekly summary 49/2019

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 49th week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, six new heads were introduced:

• Doll Sweet ›Effie‹ head - silicone
• HR Doll no. 27 head - TPE
• SE Doll ›Emily‹ head - TPE
• SE Doll ›Maggie‹ head - TPE
• SE Doll ›Wynne‹ head - TPE
• Xycolo ›Ruoye‹ head (XC no. 5) - silicone

Also, three new body styles were released:

• New arrivals: HR Doll HR-164 body style - TPE / height ~164 cm / weight ~55 kg
• New arrivals: SE Doll SE-167/D body style - TPE / height ~167 cm / weight ~42 kg
• New arrivals: SE Doll SE-166/B body style - TPE / height ~166 cm / weight ~36 kg

3) Factory photos and shipped dolls.

This week, we had two completed dolls:

• This Doll House 168 DH19-145/F body style with ›Marie‹ and ›Chloe‹ heads travels to Texas
• This Doll House 168 EVO-145/C body style with ›Natasha‹ and ›Cat‹ heads travels to Germany

4) Current Promotions.

Some of the end-of-the-year-promotions are running until the end of 2019:

• HR Doll - 2nd head for free (valid until December 31st for doll bodies from 153 cm and up)
• Piper Doll - Hanging hook & enhanced tongue for all dolls, including Iris and torsos
• Xycolo - Promotion extended / Introductory prices until end of December 2019 for all Xycolo dolls!

Regarding performance review for the finalized promotions, YL Doll did not score any additional sales during the promotion. That's similarily puzzling as how Doll House 168 'classic' and Irontech performed since they all have a vast range of attractive head choices.

Based on our website access stats, I am starting a new weekly report: What's trending this week?

These stats reflect what our (potential) customers are interested in. The stats are broken down by the geographical distribution area, so this might give some insight about varying regional tastes or preferences.

6) Indigo updates & industry news.

Since December 6th, 2019, all Piper Dolls including the 80 cm torso and 100 cm Iris are equipped with the overhead suspension system. Also since December 6th, the torso and Iris come with the enhanced tongue. Both features are product care and come free of charge.

We got new TPE material for Doll Forever/Piper Doll, and Doll House 168 'EVO' and 'classic'. Though, D4E/Piper 'dark tan' and DH168 'EVO' 'honey light' was missing in the delivery; this affects one order for both skin colors.

Also, Indigo is planning to support the SE Doll TPE blend – assuming that SE Doll will provide material samples.

7) Current & upcoming Unboxing Reviews.

This new Unboxing review has started:

• Unboxing Sino-doll SI-162/D body style with S30 ›Linyin‹ and S31 ›Chris‹ heads
