11) Silicone Blend, Skin Surface, Surface Finishing, Skin Tone
Silicone Blend: The silicone blend is a more firm type which qualifies the XC-170 for photography, display and companionship.
The silicone has no noteworthy smell and is nicely non-oily with minimal oil leakage.
The head is made of a firm silicone; breasts are softer than the rest of the body; the silicone blend is different than what Doll Sweet is using as does not have the 'Marshmellow'-like resistance.
Shore hardness of the raw silicone is – as usual – not specified.
The rather non-sticky composition of the silicone makes it relatively convenient to dress this doll. Though, obviously it's still a lot easier to dress a PE manikin.
Skin Surface: Some similarity to a DS, also some details like sculpted veins on hands and feet. Trimming of seamlines is sufficiently good for almost any use case, though it's not as good as on Gynoid Tech's GT-165 where seamlines are more or less invisible.
Surface Finishing: Again, some similarity to DS; no advanced surface finishing like GT, but subtle extra details on the head, comparable with Doll Sweet's S-level makeup. As far as I can tell, the body does not have any kind of coating, so probability of skin peeling of is virtually non existant.
Skin Tone: Visually similar to Doll Sweet's 'lpink'; direct comparison with DS samples is tdb.

12) Manufacturing Quality
Judging from the few hours I had the XC-170 in my hands, manufacturing quality is quite good. Joints of the skeleton are adjusted reasonably tight, and it's a pleasure to work with this doll.
Compared to other dolls, I'd put manufacturing quality on a similar level like a good DS 'Evo'.
Things that will require a closer look (= tbd) are:

13) Body Shape and Lady Parts
The body shape is to a certain degree a matter of personal taste, so I can only speak for myself. I think the body shape is well done and aesthetically pleasing, though the breasts are relatively big and the waist is relatively narrow. It's a rather athletic body with strong legs and without a bubble butt.
Hand and foot proportions are good, however the feet are a little bit smaller than they probably would be on an average organic woman. Due to the jointed fingers, the hands are relatively big compared to other Chinese dolls like Sino's SI-152 or SI-172, or the life-sized Hitdolls/Ildolls which sometimes have irritatingly small hands.
Regarding the lady parts, the XC-170 has as as well a vaginal as an anal body cavity. The width of the vagina, built-in (fixed) version, looks usable for an average caucasian male; this is probably a major difference compared with Doll Sweet's DS-167 'Evo'.
Since this is not my doll, I can not try her out, so things to be investigated further (= tbd) are:
Addendum by mi6c: The vaginal canal has an approximate depth of about 14 cm, diameter about 2,2 cm. The anal canal has an approximate depth of about 12 cm, diameter about 1,6 cm.

14) Posing Capability
Just a few impressions about posing… this doll was quite cooperative, and she turned out to be unexpectedly photogenic.
Pictures above with factory-supplied wig and underwear. I consider the XC-170 highly photogenic as she does not tend to reflect light. There is no indication of shinyness or glossyness with default (ex factory) powdering. That puts her on a level together with Doll Sweet's DS-167 'Evo' with S-level makeup heads as an outstanding photo model. You will definitely enjoy taking pictures of this doll!
Also, her movements are smooth and appear natural. At least in the short time I had with her, she did not get into weird poses. When posing, she just does what you want her to do.
However, there is one thing to keep in mind for all dolls with massive foam cores – there always lingers the potential issue of delamination, meaning that the silicone skin might loose adhesion with the foam core the more you pose her.
In some poses, the XC-170 will show wrinkles; that is not delamination, but also caused by a layer of silicone on a foam core. Silicone dolls with thick silicone layers do not have this, but they will be significantly heavier. With the current tech, you can't have both, low weight and thick silicone layers.

15) Hybrid Doll Potential
Investigating the hybrid doll potential is tbd.
Generally, there are a couple of possibilities to get heads from other manufacturers onto a Xycolo body as the spigot part of the connector is in Xycolo's heads.
If Xycolo's heads can be adapted onto other manufacturer's bodies depends if it is (non-destructively) possible to remove the spigot part from the head.

16) Conclusion
Overall, the Xycolo XC-170 is a very impressive doll. Even though the weight has the usual 'Chinese deviation', her weight is still excellent. She is easy to handle and cooperative when posing. She does not have any showstopper flaws, and things like the head connector simply work. Getting the head onto the XC-170 does not force you to endure an ordeal like with a GT-165 head. Also, you can get the head off the doll as easily as you got in onto the doll. With both Sino-dolls (SI-152 & SI-162) I puchased last year, it is a challenge to get the head off the doll, so having a convenient neck connector on the Xycolo is a nice detail.
Considering the skeleton and the range of movements diagram, the XC-170 can sit without risking damages like we encountered with Gynoid's GT-165. Checking out the doll confirmed this, there are no issues with sitting. The hip joints are designed to be bend with an 90° angle, and there are no obscure gel-or-whatever implants in the butt. Also, even if this doll is not specified for standing, we could make her stand on her own feet without causing any damage. This is outstanding. Stuff simply works the way you would expect. I do like that.
Is she the perfect doll for everybody? Certainly not. Such a doll simply does not exist. For example, if you want to have oral sex or to acquire full anal penetration, this doll might not be the right choice for you. Honestly, I think the is much too precious as a mere 'fuck toy'. For sex she is probably better suited than a DS-167 'Evo', but the two body cavities are not her strengths. Neither the width not the depth of the vagina might not satisfy every Caucasian male.
Good use cases for this doll are, for example, photography, display, and companionship. You will love this doll especially because of her easily managable weight, her outstanding skeleton and because she is so photogenic. My guesstimate is that this doll will love you back for a long time if you handle her with the proper care and respect.
The XC-170 is robust. The attribution that comes to mind is 'workhorse'. I don't think that she will fall apart within a couple of weeks, like certain other silicone dolls from the upper price range. However, if you bring a doll like the XC-170 into your home, do not treat her as a commodity. The hinged fingers will tickle you to play with them, but they are delicate. Hinged fingers are not automatically more durable than wires; maybe they won't break as easily as wired fingers, but the miniature joints can still loosen their tight adjustment like any other joint.
Among the outstanding strengths of the XC-170 is a skeleton with (almost) no welded parts; if Xycolo supplies spare parts, similar to Doll Sweet, this will be one of the best maintainable dolls on the market. Regarding silicone adhesives, we did not get something like a 'repair kit' from the factory. Since this doll did not suffer any damage from shipping or posing, we did not need to try off-the-shelf adhesives like Sil-poxy or Wacker E4. However, considering the minimally oily nature and the lack of a surface coating, I do not expect problems like we encountered with GT or early dolls from Sino.
Where can we put the XC-170 in comparison with other dolls of this price range?
