Removing privacy related data from images
To protect your privacy, we recommend to remove respectively anonymize metadata from your images before posting.
A very convenient method for metadata removal is available with MAT, the Metadata Anonymisation Toolkit.
MAT supports wildcards (batch operation), so with mat *
you can process a whole image folder for uploading in seconds.
Usage:
$ mat

positional arguments:

-a, --add2archive add to output archive non-supported filetypes (Off by

-b, --backup, -b keep a backup copy
-L, --low-pdf-quality
produces a lighter, but lower quality PDFInformation:
-c, --check check if a file is free of harmful metadatas
-d, --display list all the harmful metadata of a file without
removing them
-l, --list list all supported fileformats
-v, --version show program's version number and exit
