Mannequin (1987) by Michael Gottlieb tells the fantastic story of a young artist who builds a perfect mannequin in whose body an Egyptian princess comes to life. Ema "Emmy" Heshire inspires artist Jonathan Switcher and the two soon fall in love with each other immortally. The only problem is: Nobody but Jonathan can see Ema as a fun-loving woman, all other people see only a lifeless mannequin ... Andrew McCarthy plays the misjudged artist, Kim Cattrall perfectly embodies the squeaky-vibrant mannequin. By the way, Jonathan marries his Ema at the end.
